99-04 SD Axle Conversion Shackle Kit for 65-79

Finally another axle option to use in a 65-79 F100/F250/F350 2WD chassis for when converting to 4x4. This solves the shackle portion when using a 99-04 Super Duty Dana 60.

Why 99-04? Of course they aren’t as desirable as a 05+ axle, but these axles are very plentiful and affordable. Able to retain the “original, older” look with leaf springs that ride/handle better and run a 16” wheel no problem! Without having a wide track width like a 05+ will have.

We recommend using the front hanger and steering box mount from battlebornbrakes.com with this shackle kit.

Designed to use 99-04 F250/F350 shackle bushing hangers and leaf springs.

3/8 thick shackles available in 4” and 5” lengths.

3/16 thick faceplate that bolts into existing holes to help stiffen up chassis, with the option to weld in or simply leave it bolted in.

All necessary hardware included.

Comes with drill templates and instructions for install.
