1977.5-1979 F250 4x4 mounts to install a 7.3L powerstroke are finally here! Just like our highboy mounts, these bolt right into existing holes in the frame rails.
These are designed to use 94.5-97 F series engine mounts, must use driver side rubber mount on passenger side bracket to take advantage of the offset stud pattern for needed clearance.
For trucks stock height, we recommend using a shorter oil filter for differential clearance. K&N HP-4002 or equivalent. Anything with a 2” or more lift will be fine to use factory filter.
Aftermarket AC only, will not work with big factory AC box underhood.
Notching of crossmember is needed for front oil pan clearance, just like what we do for the highboy trucks.
Mounts are slotted where it bolts to frame to allow ~1/2” of adjustment front to back to position engine as far back as needed.
These mounts work with 6.9L and 7.3L IDI engines as well!
